Violence?
Hey guyss!!
So I've kind of been thinking a lot recently when it comes to Domestic Violence after watching Alsha Dixon's "Don't Hit My Mum" Program.
I don't know if any of you watched it but the call made by a young daughter, as her mum was screaming "He's going to kill me" in the background has been stuck in my head..for a while now..
Men and women who choose to hit their children, hit their partners, hit the general public.. disgusts me, why use violence as an act you should perform on a daily basis, regardless of how angry you are.. yes okay! so some people can't control themselves, and they are hot tempered.. but this should be no excuse to beat up your partner, because you can't be a grown man and accept what life throws at you.
What some families don't understand are the kids involved.. parents believe when they are having an argument, only the two people involved are the two people involved! however this is not the case..
Even things as a small argument can encase fear into a young child, and over time this fear will develop.
Some parents don't understand the effects physical violence and memories it installs in a child... for someone to visually experience blood and bruises, between the people they love is never going to be easy, if anything it could create hate.
okay ... i guess this may not all make sense but something i'd been thinking about ...
If you are a victim or are experiencing problems, you should most certainly talk to someone..
talking helps the system.
